I first became familiar with The Desire Map when I was moving through some major transitions in both my business and personal life. Each day I was facing new challenges and felt emotionally overwhelmed. I craved a deeper sense of peace. When I began the process of Desire mapping, the anxiety and uncertainty I had struggled with started to lift. I began to feel more connected with my spirit and intuition, and discovered a greater sense of clarity. I felt like I could breathe easier and release all that I was holding. When I focused on how I wanted to feel in each area of my life, rather than just an end goal, my journey started to become more authentic and positive. I felt more compassion towards myself and more guided in the choices I made.
With the help of The Desire Map I started checking in with myself daily, focusing on my Core Desired Feelings, which are: Empowered, Creative, Abundant, Joyful, and Inspired. Now, before I start my day, make a decision, or create a plan, these are the feelings I connect to first, because I know they will lead me in the direction I need to go. This kind of self-care and devotion has become a huge part of my personal wellness. I believe we all deserve to feel the way we desire in our daily lives.
